Jan Myers is the drive behind Jan Myers & Associates, her independent manufacturers’
representative organization. While it is actually part of Specialty Walls &
Ceilings, Inc.,
it retains her name because of her many years in the industry.
Born and raised in the Harrisburg area, she returned to Harrisburg after living in
Northeast Philadelphia for 2 years. After working for a large interior contractor for 18
years, she found herself
in the rep business in late 1994. Starting her own business in 1997, she brings over
thirty years of construction background to the table. Her experience working both as an
estimator and project manager gives her the perfect background for understanding her
customers’ needs, as well as a realistic grasp of the construction process. She
understands the team approach to having a successful installation.
The Firm represents some of the best acoustical treatment and column manufacturers’
in Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Metro DC markets.
Jan Myers & Associates offers design assistance to the professional using various
manufacturers’ products and supplying the required details. Skilled and
knowledgeable
about the industry, they also provide product presentations on how to use the various
products or just for educational purposes. In addtion to supplying top quality products,
Jan
and Keith work to help the contractor keep the project on schedule and provide
assistance in
the field as necessary. Together with some great manufacturers they offer a host of
